Masson’s Trichrome is a ready-to-use staining kit for the identification of muscles, collagen fibers, fibrin and erythrocytes in tissue sections. The Masson’s Trichrome stain is a classic histological special stain with which connective tissue, muscles, epithelium, cell nuclei and red blood cells can be clearly distinguished from each other in terms of color. It is used in routine histology and pathological diagnostics, e.g. to assess fibrosis, scar tissue, tumor stroma or vessel walls.
