The HATPS 96 Automated Tissue Dehydration and Embedding System is a fully automated solution that seamlessly integrates the tissue dehydration and embedding processes.
With the HATPS 96, each sample is individually and automatically guided through all important processing steps: Fixation, dehydration, clarification, kerosene filtration and embedding.
The HATPS 96 system is a fully automatic dewatering and kerosene embedding system based on DE-Unite technology.
The system uses a central software program to control various functional modules, including the mechanical arm, temperature control modules, the kerosene dispenser and tank, and the pipette bundle.
The device automatically performs all steps of tissue processing: fixation, dehydration, infiltration and subsequent embedding of the tissue in a kerosene block.
Up to three independent process programs can be started simultaneously, which enables a particularly efficient workflow.
Thanks to the separate positions, there is no cross-contamination during the entire process - which significantly increases the quality and reliability of the results.
