L&rsquo;anticorps anti-EMA est un marqueur utile pour colorer de nombreux carcinomes. Il colore les cellules normales et n\u00e9oplasiques de diff\u00e9rents tissus, y compris l&rsquo;\u00e9pith\u00e9lium mammaire, les glandes sudoripares et le carcinome colorectal. Le carcinome h\u00e9patocellulaire, le carcinome surr\u00e9nalien et le carcinome embryonnaire sont tous EMA n\u00e9gatifs, de sorte qu&rsquo;une k\u00e9ratine positive avec un EMA n\u00e9gatif indique l&rsquo;une de ces tumeurs.
