L’anti-CD68 marque les cellules de la lign\u00e9e monocytes\/macrophages. Cet anticorps est capable de colorer les monocytes, les cellules de Kupffer, les ost\u00e9oclastes, les granulocytes et leurs pr\u00e9curseurs ; les lymphomes sont n\u00e9gatifs ou pr\u00e9sentent peu de granules. Cet anticorps peut \u00eatre utile pour identifier les tumeurs my\u00e9lomonocytaires et histiocytaires. Comme il reconna\u00eet un \u00e9pitope r\u00e9sistant au formol, potentiellement associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des granules lysosomales, il peut \u00e9galement colorer d’autres cellules riches en lysosomes.
